Students without proper permits cannot park their cars in university property from 07:30 to 17:30 during weekdays. On the other hand, permit holders may park their cars in the Lilybank car park on a 24-hour basis.

The nearest railway station to the University of Glasgow is Patrick, which is a mile to the west of the university. The station has an interchange with bus services and the underground for more convenience. Students may also ride the subway into the university’s main underground station in Hillhead.
